FAMILY PRACTICE - CAREERS WITH US
We're a National Placement Agency recruiting for
over 10,000 opportunities throughout the country, ranging
in size from large national hospital chains to single
practitioner offices in small town America ... and
literally everything in between. But regardless of their
size, our clients are well-educated professionals, CEOs,
administrators, and MDs who own their own practices. So our
employees must be qualified professionals as well!
Family Practice
was established in 1995 and is expanding at an amazing
pace. We're now hiring both permanent employees and
independent contractors. If you are interested in
working for a financially stable company in a true growth
market, browse the following job descriptions for
available opportunities.
PERMANENT
EMPLOYMENT
Market Researchers
Market Researchers perform a very necessary and vital role within
the Family Practice
team of professionals. Ambitious and self-disciplined, our Market
Researchers are responsible for "combing" the entire
country to identify new leads. Market Researchers regularly
communicate with medical facilities in all four time zones and
achieve a call-frequency of no less than four times a year. As
"high-end" marketers, our Market Researchers are expected
to project a warm and friendly demeanor while exhibiting the utmost
in professionalism and ethical integrity. Successful Market
Researchers are eligible for promotion to Senior Market Researchers
and Account Executives. Market Researchers are compensated at a base
hourly rate of $10.00 per hour and earn commissions from
lead-generation. Average earning potential is equivalent to
approximately $18.00-$22.00 per hour.
Account Executives
Working from our Dunedin, Florida office, our Account Executives
are a team of exceptional, highly motivated, inside-sales
professionals. Each executive is responsible for a protected
territory ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 U.S. medical facilities from
which they identify new physician needs and present Family
Practice services.
Although we work from a single office location here in Dunedin
Florida, our clients are distributed throughout this great country.
For this reason we make extensive use of both telecommunication and
internet technologies. This is a "high-end" telesales
position, with an established National Placement Agency. We are not
a "dot-com," and our Account Executives are not
telemarketers. Successful Account Executives are eligible for
promotion to Physician's Agent or Physician Liaison positions.
Earning potential for this position is usually between
$40,000 and $70,000 annually.
Physician Agents
Similar to the agents of professional athletes and actors, our
Physician's Agents work as the physician's advocate by locating and
negotiating career opportunities. During training, Physician's Agents
gain extensive knowledge of the physician employment market and become experts in employment contract
negotiation. Physician's Agents bring to bear their strategic
negotiation expertise to ensure their clients the most attractive
compensation package available. A Physician's Agent compiles a
"book" of business through rapport building, solid
relationship development, and professional networking. This is a
"referral" business and Physician Agents demonstrate
stellar communication and "people" skills.
Physician Liaisons
Our Physician Liaisons are the essential link between
employers and physician candidates. The Physician Liaison
identifies appropriate candidates from our physician pool
and presents them to employers seeking a good fit for
their practice opportunities. The Liaison screens both
employers and candidates to ensure compatibility and
employment longevity. A Physician Liaison negotiates
Contingency Agreements, selects and presents candidates,
coordinates interviews, and negotiates employment
contracts. Physician Liaisons must be very diverse and talented professionals with the
ability to articulate information to both sides in an
effort to trouble-shoot, anticipate, and circumvent
obstacles for Employers and Candidates alike.
J-1 Placement Specialist
J-1 Placement Specialists help international physicians holding J-1 Visas obtain
employment with medical facilities eligible for
federal waivers. In addition to coordinating interviews and
negotiating employment contracts, the J-1 Placement
Specialist manages the entire J-1 waiver process, ensuring
successful outcomes for our clients.
Legal Department Staff
Our in-house legal department provides the necessary
support for the full range of contracts, J-1 waiver
applications, and other matters vital to the operation and
success of Family Practice.
Legal secretaries and paralegals experienced in contracts,
employment law, and immigration law are crucial members of
the Family Practice
team.
Recruiters
Encouraging physician participation in Family
Practice
programs is the job of our staff recruiters. Our
recruiters maintain regular contact with residency
programs to reach new physicians and promote our programs
and services throughout the medical community.
If you are interested in becoming a part of our Family
Practice team,
please contact our Human
Resources Manager.
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS
MSR Program
Medical Student Representatives (MSRs) work as Independent
Contractors to assist Family Practice
with our physician outreach and referral efforts. This is not a
sales position. There are no specific time requirements or schedules
for MSRs, and in general they are able to meet their objectives
while conducting the normal activities of a medical student on
clinical rotations. Family Practice
supplies all printed materials, such as posters or brochures, that
are needed to assist the MSRs in helping new physicians become
aware of the tools and services available through Family Practice. MSRs
are compensated via "finders fees" whenever a
physician they refer accepts a position through any of our programs
or services. If you would like to participate in the MSR program,
please review the Application
Instructions.
Locum Tenens
While the majority of our clients are seeking
physicians to fill a permanent, full-time need, many of
our clients also require physicians to assist during
shorter term staff shortages. To assist these clients, Family
Practice has
established a Locum Tenens program. This program is
beneficial both to our clients, who require physicians for
shorter-term assignments, and to physicians interested in
experiencing a variety of practice settings in diverse
areas of the country. By providing them with a single,
stable employer, physicians are assured employment continuity and clerical
support. If you are interested in becoming a Family
Practice Locum
Tenens Physician, please complete a Physician
Profile.
